San Diego

San Diego, point adjacent entre Los Angeles et le Mexique (c’est un petit peu géométrique… Quota intellect désactivé.).

Plusieurs attractions principales régissent dans cette ville et personne ne peut s’y ennuyer (à part ma vieille tante, certainement… Allez, pour une fois, je lui donne une raison de râler !).

Commençons donc plutôt par un détour vers le port. Vous pouvez emprunter un bateau et ainsi, admirer la baie de Coromandel ou encore visiter le porte-avion USS Midway, premier dans sa catégorie depuis la Seconde Guerre Mondiale et ayant servi pendant la Guerre du Vietnam, ainsi que la Guerre du Golfe. Il se situe juste en face du musée maritime et fait lui-même également office de musée, depuis 2004.

Un coin sympa à San Diego, c’est le parc historique de Old Town San Diego. Là-bas, retrouvez l’esprit de la vieille ville. On peut se balader dans une rue piétonne, semblable à celles du far-west, parmi des édifices datant de 1820 à 1870.

Aussi, le jardin botanique mérite le coup d’œil et impose une pause (jeu de mots pourri !). Surtout, soyez prudent quant à où vous marchez.

Enfin, l’incontournable parc d’attractions et zoologique Sea World peut amuser petits et grands. Des animaux en cage, des animaux en spectacle, des enfants qui courent et hurlent et des adultes excités parmi toutes ces attractions à sensation plus ou moins fortes.

Pour finir, je vous obligerais également à faire un tour le long du port et des plages avoisinant l’agglomération.

Last city after Los Angles until Mexico, it is, for sure, the city where nobody can get bored (except my old aunt, whom I’m giving a reason to complain for something, for once !).

Anyway, let’s start by a visit of the harbor and its area. You cannot escape the USS Midway aircraft career that has been used for the Vietnam and Gulf Wars. Since 2004, visitors are allowed to visit that museum.

Also, you can hop on a boat and admire the Coromandel View and end up with a visit of the maritime museum. It’s just an advice. You don’t have to spend the whole day in museums, and it’s rarely raining down in San Diego!

Moreover, you can relax in the Old Town San Diego. There you can walk along buildings from the 19^th century and feel the atmosphere of the times. It’s really cute and I didn’t even think such a place could really remain, today…

Add a little detour to the botanic garden to your journey, so you can breath some fresh air among the vegetation.

Finally, I must not forget to advise you to spend a day at Sea World, with its animals in pens, animals in shows, children running and shouting and grown-up people, excited with the attractions around. Well… It was just an advice!

So try what I say, go to the beach, San Diego is a cool place to chill out at!
