Instantly, you’re dreaming. Las Vegas ; the city of light and enlightment, its casinos, a decline at its summit, its noise and parties… Well..

So, to talk more seriously and get straight to the point…

All that to end up at the palest hotel I have seen since my stay in Greymouth, at the Adelphi Hotel… :-o !

So I arrived in the middle of the day in Vegas, and eventually ended up at the CIRCUS CIRCUS Hotel. Joyful dear Seagull !

That dark-colored hotel dikes a shopping mall, a theme park, restaurants and a casino (yep ; all that !) and its name reminds me of the lugubrious atmosphere we have in circus : too pale clowns, always smiling and doing some monkey business to try to make people laugh. But it isn’t ! Clowns are creeppy ! Come on ! Sorry. The hotel !

Circus Circus, wacky place that’ll scare people off with not only its old facade, but with its dark walls, taking you back to the 50s’.

Watch your sight !

Then, let’s write about Vegas by night, otherwise, there’s no interest !

First stop : the casino !

I have to admit I spent only a couple of hours playing on gambling machines.

The point is there are waiters coming straight after you sat down to offer you free drinks. Just remind you have to give a tips.

Second stop : the bar at the casino

WTF ? 3$ for a whiskey ? Ok, then. I know where I’ll spend the end of the evening.

Then, you can have a look aroung the Bellagio, the Mirage volcano, and watch for a few minutes the Fremont Street Experience. It’s a sound and light show on fountains. Well, I said a few minutes, but a few seconds are enough.

Las stop : Old Las Vegas !

I think it is just my favourite place in Vegas. It is authentic, people are dancing in the street, disguised entertainers are posing for pictures… Apparently, Cupid is a good friend of Superman, though !

In fact, it is a magic, wonderful and entertaining area of Vegas, where anybody can do anything.
