Une quiche nommée loally

Tout d’abord : une bonne année (simplement pour accentuer le fait que j’ai décidé de ne pas m’accorder de journée de congé, comme vous qui avez le temps de me lire) !

Aussi, alors qu’il fait un temps à se doter, muni d’un chocolat chaud auprès de votre cheminée, j’ai ainsi décidé de vous offrir du soleil et un voyage sur un bateau pirate, le long de la « Bay of Islands ».

Normalement, la journée vous coutera 145NZD pour un adulte ou 72NZD pour un enfant, mais aujourd’hui ; c’est cadeau.

Alors, le Tucker Tompson, c’est tout simplement la réplique du bateau du capitaine Cook (je sais. Tout de suite, cela vous fait envie…). Le départ de Paihia est à 9heures. Il vous faut emprunter le ferry jusqu’à Russell pour vous évader en pleine mer, dès 10 heures du matin.

Un café ou un thé vous sont offerts, ainsi qu’une tartine avec du beurre, de la confiture et de la crème chantilly.

Pas un déjeuner folichon !

Vous naviguerez dans la Bay of Islands et pourrez, si vous le souhaitez, participer en magnant le volant (je ne sais plus le mot. En même temps, on est le 1^er janvier.) Ou en tirant les mats (allez, les deux.)

Concernant les activités ; vous pourrez escalader les mâts et également vous reposer une petite heure sur une île et aussi grimper jusqu’au point de vue. De là : des îles, la mer, et des pierres (décrit comme cela…). Si vous vous sentez d’humeur enfantine, attrapez-donc la corde d’un mat et élancez-vous dans l’eau, comme vous en rêviez en regardant « Tarzan » ; votre dessin animé fétiche ; j’en suis certaine !

Enfin, côté déjeuner, étonnez-vous de vous faire servir du poulet (sur un bateau… C’est surprenant et à la fois… décevant). Vous aurez cependant la possibilité de préciser, si vous ne désirez pas manger de la viande, mais l’équipe vous allouera du fromage, à la place.

Le retour se fait donc à 16 heures, toujours à Russel. L’été, il y a quatre ferrys pour Paihia alors qu’en période creuse, il n’y en a que deux. Un inconvénient très peu négligeable.

Ce voyage est toutefois admirable et reposant, mais il y a beaucoup de monde sur ce bateau et peu de place pour s’installer. L’idéal si vous ne désirez pas vous tasser, est de monter à bord en période creuse, bien qu’il n’y ait pas tant de ferrys, mais séjournez plutôt à Russell, dans ce cas-là.

To begin; happy new year (just to highlight the fact that I’m not off today, while you do and then, have the time to read me. :_))!

So as most of you have to stay in a hot place and have some hot chocolate in front of your chimney, I decided I would better offer you some sun and a trip to the Bay of Islands.

It’s usually 145NZD per adults and 72NZD for a child, but today, it’s my present for you.

So, the Tucker Thompson is the copy of the Captain Cooks’ boat. The departure time is at 9 o’clock from Paihia, since you have to take the ferry to Russell and go on board of the sailing boat at 10.

As a breakfast, the crew will offer you some toasts with butter, jam and whipped cream, with a coffee or a tea. It’s not such a crazy breakfast, but quite welcoming!

If you want to, you can participate in the sailing by riding the boat or lifting the masts.

As an entertainment, you are able to climb the mats, stay one short hour on a beach and also climb to the viewpoint where you will see rocks, the sea and… oh yeah! Islands.

Eventually, the lunch is served but however, what’s quite astonishing and disappointing at the same time, is the fact that chicken is served onboard (What about the sea fish? There are heaps of them!). Anyway, if you don’t eat meat, just say it and you will get… cheese. Hum. Just think that you do not get on this boat to eat.

The return is at 4 p.m. in Russell so you will still have to catch the ferry if you’re staying in Paihia. By the way, in winter, there are only 2 ferries and 4 in summer. Just remember that this ferry is really busy during the high season, so I would precise that you should better stay in Russell.

At last, this trip is funny, nice and peaceful since the landscape is just wonderful and magic.
